This backyard was designed with the whole family in mind. There is a large area for the kids to play, an outdoor entertaining deck for the adults with limestones steps across a grassed area leading to the pool.

The gardens are low maintenance with waterwise planting such as grasses, cottonwood hibiscus and agaves.

The landscaping project was completed in conjunction with the pool installation.

The young family wanted the front garden to be a safe and open space for their children to play with enough room to include a trampoline.

A limestone retaining wall meant the front garden could be maintained at the one level. A raised garden bed was installed for seasonal vegetables and herbs.

Roses and silverbush ground covers were chosen to border the lawn area. Feature trees such as the ornamental snow pears provide summer shade while allowing sunlight in during winter.
